Rawal Lake is an artificial reservoir, built on the Korang River in Islamabad. This lake was built by the Punjab government to fulfill the need for water.
Outdoor activities such as barbecues, boating, and rock climbing can be performed here, and these activities attract a large number of tourists here.
Kallar Kahar lake
Kallar Kahar is a town and subdivision of Chakwal District. Considering it to be a crown of the Salt Range will not be wrong. Kallar Kahar Lake is a saltwater lake.
Kallar Kahar Lake has boating facilities and has valuable pieces of architecture and history. It is also a habitat of peacocks.
These are the reason for Kallar Kahar to be famous among tourists.

Namal Lake is located in Mianwali. And is surrounded by mountains and agricultural areas. It was built to meet the needs of the water.
Fishing and boating facilities are available in Namal lake. The fishes in this area are commonly used for food. There are also different types of migratory birds present near the lake, every year in winter.
So lets move to the most beautiful lake.
Khabbaki Lake is a very attractive lake near Khabbaki village on Naushehra-Jaba Road. It is also a saltwater lake like Kalar Kahar Lake. This lake is formed due to the lack of drainage in the range.
Lake, greenery, and the mountains around provide good scenery. Boats are also available for boating. All this is making that place attractive to tourists.
If you can’t visit the northern areas frequently, you could go to this lake as it gives you that look because it is surrounded by mountains and greenery.
Jahlar Lake is a saltwater lake in the soon valley of Khushab District. The water of the lake is slightly acidic due to which there is no life in the lake. Even you can wash your clothes without soap however it does not affect the attractiveness of the lake.
During winters, birds fly towards the lake to feed on the fishes and other aquatic life of the water.
This lake does not contain any facilities like boating or fishing unlike others.

Uchali Lake is the largest saltwater lake in Soon Valley in the Salt Range, located in Naushehra. Its main sources are the surrounding streams and rainwater due to the absence of drainage systems.
Boats are also available for boating. Uchali Lake attracts hundreds of migratory birds each year. That’s why Uchali Lake is the most popular tourist attraction in the valley.
